Editorial operation and regulatory framework

Interações. Sociedade e as Novas Modernidades is governed by principles of scientific rigour, editorial independence, academic integrity, and transparency at all stages of the publication process.
This Editorial Statute defines the general framework for the journal’s operation and identifies the policies regulating the submission, review, editing, and publication of manuscripts.

Editorial independence
The journal carries out its editorial activity with full scientific autonomy. Editorial decisions are based exclusively on the academic quality of manuscripts, their scientific relevance, and their suitability to the journal’s scope, and are not influenced by institutional, economic, ideological, or personal interests.

Scientific peer-review process
All manuscripts submitted to Interações are subject to a double-blind peer-review process, ensuring the anonymity of authors and reviewers throughout the entire editorial process.
Scientific evaluation is conducted by external reviewers selected according to their academic and scientific expertise in the areas relevant to the manuscripts under consideration.
