Editorial ethics

International ethical standards

Interações: Sociedade e as novas modernidades bases its editorial practices on the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.

Where relevant to the nature of the manuscript, the journal also follows the ICMJE Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals.

Research involving human participants must comply with applicable legislation, obtain approval from the competent research ethics committee where required, ensure informed consent, and observe the ethical principles of the current version of the World Medical Association Declaration of Helsinki.

The journal is committed to ensuring fair, rigorous, and transparent editorial processes, guaranteeing the scientific quality of the published works, respect for the rights of authors, reviewers, and research participants, as well as the credibility of scientific production.

Editorial commitment

Interações adopts the double-blind peer review evaluation system, ensuring the anonymity of authors and reviewers throughout the entire editorial process. All participants in the publication process must strictly comply with the principles of honesty, responsibility, impartiality, and respect for human rights.

Any violation of ethical standards will be assessed by the journal's director and editor-in-chief and may lead to rejection of the manuscript, retraction of the published article or other appropriate measures.
